Thumbs up for me for sky, gave me the cheapest quote :thumb:
Hi ollie
im 20, 21 in july
driving two years in january there
live in northern ireland bt27 4xt
a 6 weeks back(27 january 2011) some guy ran into me. he wont accept liabilty so the case hasnt really moved that far.
anyway my insuance was due for renewal in february although i dont have the nova anymore and had no car to renew a policy with
im thinking of getting a wee corsa although i have temporarily lost my ncb that i would of had, i had a year and would of been two years only this prick run into me 3 weeks before my renewal date.
someone on here told me that they renewed with sky and sky let them keep their ncb but if if a decision arises that i am at fault for the crash then sky will cancel the insurance policy.
is this true becasue lossing my ncb has sent my insuance sky high. £175 a month on a bog standard 1.0 12v corsa :(
so keeping my ncb would really benefit me as i know im not at fault for this and having my insurance go thru the roof because of some muppet has temporarily taken me off the road.
any advice on this would be very helpful. thanks dean
Just got of the phone to Sky (ver helpfull/friendly guy on the phone) and the couldn't do alot for me.
Renewal with Admiral is £490 Deposit of £41.05 plus 11 payments of £40.89
Sky got it down to about the same But With 100 and something quid deposit and 10 payments of £39
Decided to stick with Admiral and not have to pay out so much this month lol
Although that will probably come back to bite me on the **** when I try to swap my insurance onto the nova later on in the year lol
Careful with their installment charges.. worth checking.Quote:

Well i had my paper quote come in at £60 more then last year £697 so called flux got a quote for £545, so Sky have matched it, and processed it! sorted, was so so tempted to take the flux one though, as its like for like mods too!..
Pretty sure Sky are like for like as well ScottQuote:

Thanks Sky/Market study(iirc)
Just got to wait and see what they give me for it as Im pretty sure its a write off
thats some good service Rysee. but i have to ask has anyone got fully comp with SKY? as they only quote me TPFT?
Im only tpft as i only valued the car at £1800
My GT4 is fully comp with them
Sky won't cover me at all :(

Any ideas why my insurance has gone up by about £150?!? Thats more than the whole premium for my Nova :(
Are Sky now offering any agreed value policies ?
