Yeah can send you some stuff through - it's not on this laptop tho so will probably be the wkend - drove past where you are the other day enroute to drapers so would be good to meet up and have a look at what you're doing etc.Quote:

Just wondering how do you go about mapping the car? I take it you have a base map given from megajolt to use, but how do you get about inputing the values? Do you just guess a value or are there certain values for certain rpm?

when we purchased our kit it come with some maps and one of them was for a vauxhall we used this for a wile with great results but now we have a map that a freind did for us that was even better when our new engine is fitted we get a free rolling road set up so see what comes from that keep you all posted
so it will definately run with the base map given?
Where do you go for your rolling road testing? As I've been thinking about this for mine - as mine was tuned on the road but it would be interesting to get some figures for comparison.Quote:

The base map that comes with the megajolt is supposed to be safe for most engines and will get you running. Then you can tune it to it your specific engine - mine was tuned on the road with an aftermarket wideband and knock sensor to keep an eye on things.Quote:

were the engine is being built he is going to set it up on his rolling road when it has been fitted back in the car (MBE he designs and builds ecu's) but there is a place not far from us i will get the info for you latter
