ye im surprised the car is still going strong with 19s but as fas as i know, its never had any real probles and has done an awful lot of miles in its years, not so many now however :(

i havnt spotted a nova that lives near me tho throughout this thread. its well known in lancashire and i think it was built around 99 and apparantly at the time was one of the first with flip paint, big wheels, valver etc. even tho i know of alot of 2.0ltrs from 95, so aybe it was done before that.

anyway cant find any pics of it really apart from this crappy one, is it well known from here. it used to and still goes to all the shows and across europe time to time...

lancy's car, had a water cooler in the boot-for drinking water!!!

I always thought it was hideously styled, but with alot of effort!

And it was extremely slow!

I think that you may be right. Neither car looks "right" though, do they?

LOL. I'm sure there is a Nova in there somewhere, it was cars like the one above that ruined the appeal of Novas IMO. The market for 'bolt on tat' exploded & mis informed youths all chopped up & ruined decent cars in an attempt to build something eye catching. In most instances they didnt get past the primer & filler stages.

i didnt think K's looked too bad tbh, but i was probably about 15 when it was in Fast Car. certainly not a fan of that other one though!

Yeah, it was rotten because it had been abused all it's life, and he cut the roof off to make a convertible with 20" wheels, and it disintegrated into little pieces.

I remember seeing it at trax in 2001 (?) and it was F8CKED back then. It was very skilfully photographed when it was in Fast Car magazine (a bit like ian searles car when it was in TV!)

right boys a little update on f668bfk. shes nearly running, just needs the fuel pump fitting and the engine earths fitting. then some other bits and bobs.
it may be getting blackbird carbs or a big power let, it all depends on funds ha ha!lol i need some gsi bumpers if anyones feeling generous!
