Dar - where did you get the steel gear from? Is it just an off the shelf item or is it from a specific pump?

Looking good in TV. Congrats on an Ace feature :thumb::d:)
Put the remote brake bias adjuster in yesterday. It all worked out quite well. The length of cable supplyed was exactly the right length and I used the old speedo cable hole to route it in to the cabin. Then it fitted perfectly in the dash where the 12v power outlet was. Only took about 5mins to install. Bargin.
I would have a piccy for you but pb is being gay.
I want a pic!
Are you tracking it at Combe on the 5th?
Finally pb took the piccy and yup I will be at Combe on the 5th.

Dar, bit cheeky as we've never met or anything, but any chance I can blag a passenger ride in this at combe or has someone beat me to it? Wouldn't mind seeing what a track nova with the length of development that yours has is capable of :d
Someones already in for one session and a few others are in line for a trip, but you may be lucky on the day. Some times it comes down to timing. Come and see me on the day.
Whats in, engine wise???
Lee's old engine???
Or has my question been answered a few pages back? lol
Alright, cheers :thumb:Quote:

Chris knew I didn't like the standard steering coupling much. So he got me one from another car that I didn't take a piccy of. I made this out of it.

Then fitted it :)

I will now put everything back together and hopefully will be out in the car again soon.
Nice to see this thread resurrected after 4 years ;)
Yes!
Wow, when and truly thought this was dead!
Update this more often please.
I got Chris around and the engine is back in . Yay!
About time.
Ha - nice work - did you order that shaft from LMF btw?
Glad to hear you're still tinkering with this, any trackdays booked?
Good to see you at Retro rides, glad you are still slowly doing bits, it's fair to say your car started the track day craze, and imo is still one of the best.:thumb:
Thanks Scott. It's been good catching up with you lot at the events :) I'm feeling the love. Not ordered the shaft yet Will and no track days booked either Iain. However my enthusiasm is creeping back. Got loads of little ideas on how to improve the car. Onwards and upwards.
For Mr Shipton. Lacquered the cover today. Looks sweet.

Still fiddling in the garage. It's been a while since I have had some time to play with the car :d
Looks good. The cut cam bdlt cover, is it not worse like that, as something could go in the top and rip/jam.
I've always run it like that.
