Get it done then.
no point untill everything is back in the bay dude as it will just get dusty!
get with the program dan! Modern, classy nova's don't have their wiper motor on the bulkhead.
lovin the carbon plate!
dropped some bits off at the powder coaters today and noticed they do the the textured finish so getting my scuttle cover done in it for a crack.
Face it, you just want to be like me!
Oh dear knew this was going too well! flocked parts meant to have been posted last tuesday for next day delivery, still nothing arrived!
don't worry mate. Not as if it was really gonna be at Billing.
Ah sorry mate, didnt take any notice lol
If worst comes to worst any one got a dash binnacle/column surround/headlight switch surround/ cold air blower surround i could borrow for billing?
I'm sure i have it all...
Cheers sexy, will know the score 2moro!
Cool cool, You know where my Aladins cave is..
Alladins porn cave......
Hopefully a missunderstanding with the dash parts, and they will be sent 2moro! I hope so as im starting to worry about deadlines etc!
Fitted the concentric top mounts, and anyone know if you can get a feed for the rev counter from an injector pulse? as this is where my apexi takes it rpm reading from.
Benn any chance you could start looking mate? as at this point im not to hopefull about the parts turning up!
Dan does the motor still work?
I was under the impression the steel backing plate acts as earth via one of the bolts that attaches it to the bulkhead…
Surely using the injector pulse fort a rpm reading will mean you lose the reading on over run ?
Jon, cant do it via the injector pulse ive been told as it will only register 1/2 rpm, which makes sense i suppose!
Wiper motor requires an earth back to the scuttle area, easy to do just run one off the motor onto the attatching screw!, good eye though!
Dan, ive got most if not all the bits you need for your dash.
What bits do you need? I have the clocks binocal, the center vent (i think)Quote:

Good news Dan! does it have a standard back end now too? will make the car so much better imo :)
Nick iam picking it all up this week, yup standard tailgate, shame i could not find an early one though!, had the bumpers done in dark grey but with textured primer, same as the grab handle, also has done me a thick mix of supa white for the wheel arches as they were looking abit off whitelol
The place ive used have been outstanding, he even went to the effort of drilling out the sawn off studs in the spoiler and bonding new studs in so it fits like the standard item!
Starting to look ok i suppose!
Glad i cut the 10mm out of the coil bracket, sits nice and close now!

Engine is also nice and square now!
Sounds like they've done you proud! car will look great and that bay looks better already. I wish you'd have put it up for sale and then Id have had a chance of buying it! There's not many let novas about that I would trust to buy build quality wise but Im sure I would this one.Quote:

Because mate the SM2 does not like the vaux 60-2 trigger, so we are using a cosworth cam sensor for NO1 pick up on the cam belt cover, then the dizzy with 3 extra cut outs for the 4 cylinders on the hall sensor.Quote:

Might be tight, or you could remove it (or cut the tip pint of the cover off)Quote:

Thats fair enough, I'm suprised the ecu can't configure for that though, all the LPG stuff I did would but my concern for you was that on overrun you would lose the signal which on a LPG system will switch the car back to petrol, I'm not sure what affect that would have on yours but it wouldn't be ideal.Quote:

Dan why can you not just get rpm from the ecu itself?
That maybe possible Rick, but Mark has my sm2 manual so i have no idea on pin-outs etc! not sure if it would give the correct signal for the vaux counter?
Buy a AIM, actually should i send you my AIM then you can fit it for me to save me the hassle?
Ha! ive fitted enough **** for you now, sorry but cba with anymore!, have mailed Mark to see if there is a pin-out i can use.
i realy love this car its realy spot on top work by you shame its goin.
rick
Cheers mate, got my new spa gauge bezals and a new mod'd pressure sensor as my boost one was fooked!, just need the new filter from tweeks now and i will be sorted, will pick the coated strut brace up later aswell!
