What sort of times you running now?
I cant realy say how quick its going at the moment pal i have been 7.644 in the 1/8 at pod with 200hp less than im running now but still only go 7.9-8.22 at Melbourne in the 1/8 but melbourne is a totally un prepared tarmac track with no glue or rubber down what so ever. Im looking forward to getting back to pod for doorslammers and usc just to see how much quicker it is in the 1/4 now and after the new cams and clutch are fitted. Mid 10s id suspect

New box all back together. I noticed inside this later f18w the have a latch to hold them in gear and stop it jumping out which is handy. Must have been a diesel thing?
Also got 2 new preasure sensors for fuel and oil for ecu cut.
Hall effect speed sensor to pick up off the rear hub / meaning i can run traction control and boost by gear.
4 puck paddle clutch to go with the cg motorsport cover.
New cam and pulleys.
Fittings for new bigger fuel tank.
And best of all i can eventually take advantage of my ecu having bluetooth. Which connects wireless to the tablet meaning i can run tunerstudio and have installed the lambo dash into shadow ms (rings go away when i start the car)
I hope all these added extras will give me the edge off the lights. Rather than all the power when its not wanted. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b937abf440.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...25a875161e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...db20063683.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cf776f44ec.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...97e05515c6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0ca9ff59ce.jpg

Thats cool! [emoji41]
I always wanted to do this. But don't have the skills so I just bought one!! Haha
Good work though will look good when done
Quick mock up for size before i commit to welding it. Much happier with the shape and fitment. And the fact its made from 4mm. My last one i cocked up and made from 2 mm only to find that at 25 psi of boost it was expanding and about to tare the seems. Il be cutting the old one up and making it the same as mine but to fit a standard c20let passangers side intake ect if anyone is aftet one cheaphttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c08834a1e3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e2c5849d41.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...919d976742.jpg

Looking good this pal.
I really do need to learn to TIG
Iv been a fabricator for 20 years and worked all over the world doing it (mig / mma) and only learned to tig 2 years ago after a lad who i work with now showed me the correct techniques. And the tips that actually make the process work. If you get the right teacher you will pick it up in no time pal judging by the standard of work on your car..

As you will see once this one is welded my tig skills have come on a long way from 2 years ago when i welded the first manifold up

My mig ability fluctuates as I do it so sporadically. Mostly I?m just tacking and I get in a proper welder like you to zip round it all. Every time I get to a point where I feel happy to weld it up myself my 10yr+ cheap Clarke mig reliability promptly reminds me why I get someone in.
What do you think of the dual machines that can mig & tig? Or better to keep separate?
Keep them all seperate sets pal. But to be totally honest i would only ever tig stainless with a 240v set as the ac doesnt balance correctly with 240 for alloy im not saying it doesnt work but it doesnt flow anywere near aswell as the 3phase 400v
I tac the stuff together at home with 240 then take it to work and weld it on 3 phase for alloy.
If you do go for 240 ac dc tig set make sure its an inverter and you should get away with it easy enough

Loads of good makes and models out there pal but id say best value for money is the r tech 200acdc thats what i use in my garage at home. Looking around ?1200 sort of area so nothing too expensive and does just about anything the same spec miller or lincoln can but half the price

Time to get this thing bolted back on. Actually over the moon with how it has turned out https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8eac2b567d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c8d933c056.jpg

You really didn?t hang about! Looks mint that [emoji108]
Looks top notch that love the welding! Should make a few and sell them .
Problem is mate people are idiots they buy a manifold like this and expect it to fit directly onto their bog standard c20 motor without modding anything. I sold one that was the predecessor to this one but i didnt like the design a couple of months back guy messages me and says his TB wont fit on it. No shit lol

Haha yep know what you mean pal. More hassle than it's worth.
Well thats it all done n dusted even managed to fit the fuel pressure sensor while it was in bit. Just cams an pulleys now and its ready to dyno again. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d6f39d00f3.jpg
