First thing I done with my sr was launch the standard head unit lol
There's something nice about the clunk you get when you put a tape in it & the hissing of the crap sound through the speakers lol
New ashley backbox fitted & decided to give the boot vinyl a bash..it took me an hour to get all the old double sided tape off as well so the surface was totally flat,after much swearing and wrestling with the vinyl & then using a pin to get all the air bubbles out i got pissed off & abandoned it...so i thought fcuk it i'm going to the pub to get wasted,i will finish it another day lol

How did you manage to get your backbox to fit like that as mine sits almost straight out? Are you able to get an under shot?
mine sits like his aswell buddy. if you turn it upside down it should put it to a slant. thats what i done to mine anyways. if you want ill grab a pic? also is your back box mk1 or mk2? think if you have a mk1 back box it'll just sit straight rather than slanted. few of my mates with gte's and sr's buy mk2 back boxes and they have all tilted them to give that slant look. hope that helpsQuote:
