Apologies but our very minimum criteria is to be aged 19 or over with a full 2 years driving experience.Quote:

Just wondered if its worth bothering to call.....
in all honestly, no it is unlikely we can compete with that.Quote:

Is this about right? Really thought it'd be cheaper.

I had the same tbh, swapping cars mid policy is always well loaded as you have to stay with the same underwriter which is maybe not the best for the car you're swapping to, and also you want your no claims bonus, so they can charge that little bit more for it, it cost me £120 to swap from a list of mods as long as your arm 1.2i with a 1.6GTE engine fitted (grp 11 iirc?), to a bog standard 1.9TD group 5 with HIC.Quote:

Fecking hell, you are a financier's wet dream lol
indeed i am lol
all sorted, the extra is from moving house,
to a lower crime rate post code lol
What?!!
the extra monthly payment, was because i moved house, to a lower crime rate lol
Thats shyte that, when i moved house a few years back with another company, they lowered the premium.(better area)
remember that xe nova i had when i was 18 with L plates on
i lived in polesworth b78 post code,
went to a cv9, would not insure me they would insure me at b78 not cv9 as higher crime
gone from a cv9 post code back to a b78 lol
just got to wait for my renewal policy ends this month,
I had a good ole lengthy natter with Scott (IIRC?) at Sky today, all was going well until he mentioned they cant cover a car with nitrous oxide. That was indeed, a blow :( Other then that, its all good like.
most wont cover for use on the road....
Well thats what I though tbh, but he kinda imposed that even if the kit is fitted with no bottle attached & I have smack on the road, it'll void the cover :S yet I dont want or need it for road use :cry:Quote:

Probably more to do with it being a pressurized container rather than the performance or connection aspects; if something were to pierce or heat it in a crash it could go kapowee. I guess you could argue if thats the case then carrying the likes of a camping stove could void your policy, but then thats not a permanent feature or part of the car.
What about having the kit installed but remove the bottle when on road?
According to our systems you are moving to a higher rated area.Quote:

Ignore me
0870 costs vary depending on your provider. 020 is a "london" number, so normal rates apply.
Just PM Ollie with your details and a contact number and he can arrange a callback to you.
Okay cheers for the advice Jack, i reaaaally cant afford any extra bills atm lol
