jus had the same idea myself, i know there are kits for fitting vtec's too mini's and metros so i dont c where the problem wud be to fit on a nova, check out youtube for a vtec powered mini on the nurburg ring in germany.

Personally I'd have thought a Civic Type R lump would be awesome on the basis it has 200BHP as standard. Ok so you'd have to go wide track but with it being a big heavy engine its only going to help with the handling. You get a 9K rev limit which you won't have with the XE.
I agree though its a lot of ball ache however, I'd rather see a Z22se lump fitted.
