Cheers pal. We have actually looked at making it a tad longer at the top. Ive never had to make room for the bottom pulley though, but thats definately a consideration.

Yesterday morning, some early birthday presents from the Mrs arrived :biggrin: Just what the doctor ordered, FB tailgate and bonnet!!

While waiting for the welding to be finished off, i decided to wield my degreaser and paintbrush, and start to freshen up some bits and bobs. First to get attacked was the engine and box, and I even managed to polish up my rocker cover after about 2 years of neglect!

Then, while i had the brush covered in green, i freshened up the Servo as well. The Hammerite green makes a cool effect, it looks better than my camera can manage to show.

Then i did the brakes (which i had been putting off due to one of them being completely covered in CV grease from a ruptured boot which id ignored for the last 2 events!)

Welding should be done soon with a bit of luck. :biggrin:
All coming togerher nicely mate! Thats ALOT of welding, thank god i'm only doing the front of mine!
