^ thanks, just p***ing me off now that whenever i try to go and put some miles on it to wear it in, something goes wrong, first the wheel bearing, now this rot! aggghhh!
That rot is just like my mates was. not good, but better you found it now.
thats all the fun of owning a nova, youve got it easy, my corsa i cant even sell for £300 lol, i just want another nova lol, chin up though, there is a silverlineing :thumb:
ok, rot has been sorted, thats what most ive me time has been spent doing lately, but it did give me chance to do my manifold and refurb the petrol while they were off, look see:

manifolds back on, puttin the tank and exhaust back on tomorrow, fingers crossed might be able to have a blast in it!
exhausts now going back on tomorrow, going to try and get my 280mm hispecs on too, not looking forward to messing around with the bias box again though!

had the tank for years matey! fitted new track rod ends today and have started to waxoyl inside, messy stuff!
Looks like a std Nova petrol tank, what's unique? lol
