Got the hub off, measured everything and worked out the angles again. Still says 2.9. So put everything back together and will wait till i get a tracking report before worrying any more. Adjusted the handbrake as well so it's just touching as it should be set. Did a lil touching up too.. As bit had got marked when fitting, so took finished pics.

Did the brake lines in blue to match the under side of the car (lines on the floor plan are black so they don't look like I've painted over them while doing the floor)
Saw this some where, thought what a great idea. So used some black silicone and did it. Looks tidier i find.

Awesome Benn, so lovely underneath. Although the fuel hose needs treating, it's got dust on it. :)
Overspray on wheels.
I used the rubber bits from a metal P clip for those lugs, worked well.
It's getting there. That is the hose i think i'll replace. Will look much tidier. Thank you too :)Quote:

Ordered these from Vauxhall as mine were melted while being powder coated. 42p each and still stocked.

Fitted, greased, cables on and adjusted (thanks Dan) hand brake now locks up on to clicks. Getting a lovely bedding in sound from the new shoes,discs,pads..
Moved the car out side, started first time, sounds great, no tapping. being that it hasn't been started since early Jan. Very dusty tho..

Then refitted the glove box back up from where we thought the alarm was going mental.. (it wasn't, was a dieing battery)
I fitted a new chromed door catch, after my old one was jamming, plus i had these chromed...

Door all built up and working smoothly....
Dan helped me fix a small fuel leek from the pump to filter. The braided hose just wouldn't seal. So changed it to a rubber one as a temp job.
Took the car for a test drive, front tracking must be out.. Rear isn't right, but the lightness on the rear end is now totally gone. which makes me very happy.
Using some straight we worked out (very easily) that the rear drivers wheel is very out of line...
Next day, off to get the tracking done... big thanks to Jim, Liam, Euan at Protyre.
On the ramp, trying to get the gauges on.. As it's low they have to mess about setting them at a different angle.

Tracking/toe... Right out the other way front where it was.. Great! Euan, thinks it might have been old worn bushes, not un-even hubs..
Now it's got new bushes, the shims have pushed the toe out the other way... So strip the hubs off again, shims out, re test... Aaggghh.
may be a silly question but weres your rear towing eye benn??
That's weird, I thought the handbrake guides were white nylon,
How much was the chroming Benn as I have a bag full of bits to get done but am struggling to find anywhere

Might look into lock stops but as you said Benn nothing gets close enough to stop the rack unless you fit the stop under the rubber boot

I was one that was rebuilt at your place, has done 1k but the owner has gone much bigger spec. So sold me it dirt cheap, and i mean DIRT cheap...
I was only curious were you got it as I didn't want you buying crap thats all :)
So the difference between standard K16 and Hybrid K16 is?
I have no clue.. Ment to make them better... James will know it all tho..
