well didnt finish work this morning till about half 2, then we went to maccys because we were starving lol, so finally got ome at about 3 this morning, but managed to get some work done on the nova during the course of saturday

first job was to do the cv boot, up she went on the forklifym wheel off, shaft out, boot on, re-greased, shaft on, wheel on, hey presto

then fitetd the one thing ive been meaning to do since i bought her, just incase, fire extinguisher, powder form incase the engine decided to go at any point lol

then took the dash out, took it back to its original mileage

the digis all don, plus a mile driven to make sure they still work lol

shes now finished, all ready for her mot, swapped the rear lights back to twin fog, checked all the mot necesseties, lights, rot, steering, breaks etc, all tweaked abit, all sorted for her mot begining of february, and i even got some big pics for you all, seen as shes finished lol

ive been over her about 9 10 times, found more little easy fix things every time, like break light bumb, main beam dash light blown etc, all sorted now :D:D:D

Nice work on the cv boot.
Did you remove the shaft from the gearbox too?(remember gear oil refill if you did)

Ive spotted a potential mot failure tho.
You have a single outlet screen washer bottle to the windscreen.
But your boot has a wash/wiper fitted. The wiper/wash needs to work for mot, so you need a dual outlet washer bottle ;)


Oh and lifting the car on forklift rails surely cant be doing the chassis any good..

nope we left it in the gearbox, was a hell of alot easier aswell

the wipers never worked, its just been there for show, been told by one of the testers it doesnt matter, if theres no switch for it on the wiper stalk it doesnt need to be tested, as it cant be :thumb:
