Not being able to get a job. ****ing hate it.
it all depends what make of boiler you have..
mine is an ikon 28t.. its about 10 years old. it was running the rads, but no hot water & it had the valve replaced a few years ago for the exact same reason..... so I knew I was stuck.. anyway, I decided to strip it out to get a head start & found a small lump of solder jamming it. so after a quick visit to b&q, it is back together & working.....I managed it before you posted, so I didn't take any pics, sorry
what make it yours? they really are basic. usually, a circuit board, a diverter valve, a heat exchanger & the boiler. then a few randomly placed sensors.. its a case of pulling the cover off, draining it down and removing the valve..
trying to patiently await results of a interview I went to with the distinctive feeling I flopped it big time!
I hate interviews, you are either good at them or youre not :(
well I find out today how it went which has my stomach in knots as I could really do with the job tbh. im sick of agency work and trying to sort my own work being self-employed is a mugs game lol
Me on phone " sorry we dont have a fuel filter"
Customer "ah erm.. hhmm ok" hangs up.

Sorry to hear that TJ,
Tesco's have a good deal on at the moment though........... 1ltr Smirnoff for £15.
For me it was sliding the ramps up under the trailer and clouting the freshly powder coated rear beam. Still didn't really piss me off as much as I thought it would have though.
cracking between the bolts on my already fractured foot, then being told it looks like i have got very bad bone structure , or to the point osteoprosis , im 33 ffs, not 90!!
WFT! £25? Are you taking the piss? But wipe screen wash down the rubber. THey have to put a gel on them to keep them soft in the box as they can sit on a shelf for years... Bet that will make them better.

had to go on a lovely spontaneous 230 mile round trip from bridgnorth to nottingham just to drop off a couple of shelves... which gave me time to contemplate life where i realised iv done 25% of my nova's mileage in the last 12 months. gutted :(
My focus st has broken again.........
FORD, you know the rest lol
Errrr, no :p
Get to work today only to find that some thieving scumbags have climbed the gate, stolen the fuel from one of the recovery trucks, also taken about 3/4 of a tonne of batteries and stolen an employees mountain bike worth about £1000. Worst thing about the fuel is that although I never lock the fuel cap so if this happens they can siphon the fuel out, instead they ignored that and punched a load of holes in the fuel tank.
Dave.
modern diesel ****ters spend the last 2 days fitting a cylinder head to a 2.2 jag/mondeo only to have to tow it down the ****ing road at 30mph to get the **** start, what the **** is wrong with a rotary injector pump and a stop solenoid, all the over complicated common rail ****e is more trouble than its worth
Noticed my front indicator missing
A police helicopter hovering over our area has woke me up. :(
Hair bobble keeping my window wiper linkage on drivers side in broke, in the rain, on a b-road with no stopping spaces, at 0500hrs this morning - new bobble installed, getting about 1500 wet miles from each bobble - hunt for working linkage still ongoing.....
