Alrite Stuart, was looking through some pics there and seen you had the original 3 spokes on your car and it looked immense
Just wondered are these the original 5J wheels and what size tyre do you have on them ?
yet they are original ronals, think the tyers are 155-65-14s but will check for you...
They look more like 185/60

hi lads just an up date on the car, was up at the shed today for a while with my dad, and we gave the car a good polish and cleaned windows etc.
unfortunely we couldnt get it out of the shed as there is quite abit of other work going on with other cars and i was blocked in:mad:
so started it up for the 1st time since the MOT and it fired up 1st time and is running sweet:D
work wise got my new headlight protectors on and put the honda jazz rear wiper on i got of chrisnovaturbo(thanks mate). also started to sand down and prep the new fuel tank i got since my one has a small leek from somewere, heres some pics.

thanks mate still ahve to get the mudflaps on and the original number plates, but nearly ready for the port on easter sunday...
looks tidy mate! Just wondering what you have done to the engine to make that bhp on the rollers?
hi bola, all thats done to the engine is head skimmed, k+n, lightened flywheel and full janspeed exhaust system including manifold. not that much to be honest...
oh right cool, got quite a good reading from that then.
yeh, i was really happy with the result..
read the hole thing there stuart...youve def something to be proud of
im planing on getting up to the met at the port on easter monday, maybe see you about
thanks johnny, yeh will hopefully be at the port on easter sunday.
Sweet machine boss, Any plans for an engine transplant in future maybe?? Or just keep her original?
no cormac just going to keep it original as possible, there arent to many standard examples out there with low miles and FVSH.

yes its a shame to brake such an original example, hopfully last 10 years if the deadly rust stays away...
Waxoyl the life out it and I'm sure it will last another 20 years with no problems :)Quote:
