Cheers for the comment mate, much appreciated
that was a good find vaughan for £30..
Aye it was so mate, well happy with it
Going to wait to get another one
Send them both away for paint and job should be sorted - Might get the full car done while I'm at it but I'm not sure yet
looking forward to seeing you at the wheel
Aye mate will be awsome
My Nova, mates silver Nova if its painted, Ade's SR, Iain's Nova Sport, Big_Chap I think as well, Craig (GTE999)'s GTE, another guy off here with a red SR/SRi I think too
Should be some crack
That door come from Gay-bay? Although i think most nova doors are spin ones! lol
Nope came from my local scrappy - Nova Spin with 15k on the clock :)
Mini update:
I should be picking up a 3" Magnex S/S backbox at the Scotland meet for the Nova
Should set the back end off nicely and sound not too bad as well
Nothing too big as that would be overkill on the 1.2 - Will be good to see it fitted
Vaughan
PS - Thanks to DaveC for the backbox :)
I'll bring me socket set down - fit it there and then...
lol Ade your some man if you do you'l be a life saver :D
which scrappy are you using? Been up to shewalton recently but not much doing...Quote:

seems to be the only one which has them. Last time i was in there was a five door in white an also a mk1 2 door saloon. Got some interesting old classics in there as well...
Aye some old Porsches in there and Capri's as well :)
They do deal with the older sort of cars mind you
At the Vauxhall Meet today I picked up my Magnex S/S backbox and centre section from a lad off the PNG - Nice one
I also picked up a set of 'indicator tinted' Twin Fog lights from Iain Talbot from PNG as well - Money well spent
I need to get a bigger exhaust clamp to fit the backbox on but that shouldn't be a problem
Got the Twin Fog's fitted when I got home and they look so much smarter

Vaughan!
them euro back lights with the smoked bits look really good on it Vaughan
Cheers mate :)
Has to be the best set of lights for a Nova ;)
Very nice indeed.
That magnex backbox will look sweet, and finish off the rear end nicely
Aye it doesn't seem to want to go onto the original centre section...
When we slide it over the original section it pops the two rubber mounts off for the centre section
I thought by cutting a slight hole in the bumper it would all sit even but my dad thinks otherwise...
Can anyone shed any light ???? :)
Had that same back box on my SR. Cut a very slight oval out the bumper to help with the clearance and sat perfect...
See Jamie I thought that as well but my dad thinks some other crazy s*it lol
Need to wait and see though
Hows your Nova coming along ??
A wee pic from the meet that I quite like!!
You better believe I was loving it lol - My dad asked 'Where we parking the Nova?' - I was like 'Beside the Sport'
Absolutely loved it - Definately a pic to keep!

Vaughan!
Mine had a Courtney suspension kit on it (clubman i think) and the exhaust just wasn't going fit properly with the mk2 bumper. Was fine on the mk1 bumper though before it was changed.Quote:

thats real nice, i'm liking those back lights
Looks good Vaughan...
TBH I think you'll need to trim a small section from the bumper - the underside is probably hitting the top of the tailpipe. The fact that the centre section rubbers are coming off indicates the pipe has been raised closer to the underside so you'll need to either extend the hanging arm on the tailpipe or chop the bumper the accomodate it.
Aye I thought that as well - Probably cut a small section out the bumper sometime then adjust* everything else accordingly
Adjust* - Get the hammers out lol
Jamie - Would be nice to see your Nova sometime as it looks minty clean in the pics :)
Cheers for the other comment about the back lights - They are mean as anything on the back
looking good vaughan
