Looks stunning Matthew!
That engine bay is very nice mate, looks like youve put alot of money into it.
Love the cake also
Mmmm cake
Usually the strut comes out the top through the threaded insert on the topmounts, are yours different somehow?
Nice work
will be awesome when its back out
thanks for the comments, much appriciated
mieran, the inlet was made by area six for rick draper (i bought it from rick) and i think its the only one they have made for vaux
Iain, the struts are pilbeam and are slightly different in the top mount area, hard to describe without pics but they have less threaded part at the top
this car is amazin what colour code is it? thanks dan
Its a one off custom tinted colour which very few know the details of. Im pretty sure Matt will want it to stay that way too as Its nice to have something thats a little different from all the rest nowadays.
On another note..................Looking cracking Farmer John!!! Will have to make it over for a few strongbows soon mate!
Nick.
A ligther shade of Porsche Peppermint Green.

Fookin epic!
That looks very very nice
Panel fit on the front end is awesome
Again, bumper to IC fit is perfect. Front end does line up really well. whole car is looking great dude.
Looking great.
Dont think i have seen it since Brett had it so looking forward to seeing it again.
Roll on next year mate.
Stunning mate!!
Can you not bring the intercooler forward a bit more? Will look better imo cos it'll fill in the space better
Looks much better with an IC there instead of that silly mesh effort..
Looks mean Matt. Fair play.
thanks for the good comments guys, much appriciated
mieran, i could bring it forward abit but it sits fine where it is, i think its just the pic that makes it look like it sits further back than what it actually does
Maybe find a type of spray paint thats intercooler friendly (as in wont clog it up, reduce its efficiency etc) and spray it black to blend it in more, and did you toy with the idea of white for the wheel color?
Scott
Ding Dong.................... :)
I personally liked the mesh, looks cool mate.
black intercoolers only look good the first day then stone chips ruin them
Looks just right silver as it is.
Went to have a look at the progress on this car yesterday. The pictures not doing the car any justice is an understatement, it's absolutly stunning in person. Everything is so neat and tidy. Unbelievable how Matthew has fitted averything under the bonnet and behind the bumper! And the wheels are perfect. Good work mate:thumb:
Well I've just spent a couple of hours and three tins of Carlsberg reading this thread Manners and I don't know whats coolest your car your birthday cake or your wife...
You sexy barstard I love you xxx
flol thanks jim love you too xxx lol
Hi Mattew,
Just had a look through your thread and your work is top notch,i have recently bought Nick j mk1 sr and was wondering if that nortech manifold fits on mine?the only thing is my slam panel is not removable like yours. all the best with finishing the nova.
Jason
Just looking a head really as kkk don't last long, and like the quality of the nortech and would put a garrett as more reliable and more power if i need to.Yours will be mad when all done as mines a hand full runing best part of 300bhp let alone 400bhp but will be interested to see if the gear box can take it ?
Looks great! Black cooler would look good and tie in with the wheels?. I painted myne black and it had no effects on the inlet charge temp, I just used aluminium primer and satin black.
they are built to handle rough treatment but im not sure if it will cope with the torque of the turbo motor, id say that could be the killer!
i might go down that route dan but ill see what i think of it when i get it out the garage and have a propper look
