Nout much going on with the car . Will be getting it prepared soon for the 8.50 tagged roll cage it having fitted .
But i have fabricated a scooter thing out of some tube a bmx and a skateboard .
For getting about in the pits at the track .

Its a free for all at the minute mate i also raced a nitro dragster . Its a brand new track so they are just sussing out who is capable of going what speeds before they sort the classes out otherwise people with road cars etc will be entering classes they are not capable of competing in
Couple more pictures from the weekend .
Also added a lower brace and soon to be a full subframe in the bay to stop a bit more flex the tube chassis is doing its job great however the car just flexes closer to the bulkhead now so by adding this im hoping that it will keep the bottom arms a bit tighter on the launch.

Well with lockdowns and high chance of f99k all racing happening this year the nova is ready to race so thought i would make a start on my second drag car build. C20let 600+hp corsa d vxr. Dont think its been done before only ever seen an xe in one. I fitted a similar brace and it makes of a world of diference - makes sense thinking of the forces going from the wheels under acceleraetion and braking, through the tiebar brackets and being transferred up the chassis legs.
Downside on mine is you can't remove the diff with it fitted, if you can work around the diff over that would be good.
New wings mocked on and bumper cut to suit wide wings again. Ignore the wonky indicators they are just sat back on so i could see how its going to look with new light stickers on.

Been out with my car for the first time this year. New shifter worked perfect. Just a shame the box has now become the weak link didnt like 7psi tires and flatshifts what so ever. Time to get this f18wr built with a new diff. Snapped the cluster clean in half. Looking for an f18wr because like an idiot i have sold both my f20s and my f18 mistaking it for a spare f16 i had under work bench.
