Yeah its definatly tig. My bailey tank is tig welded and the welds are simaliar.
Well, incase your all wondering what the hell i've been up to. Here's the
latest mod.
I send the old turbo off to Universal turbos for a recon. I went for a stage 1 hybrid, which runs a larger bearing, compressor wheel and better flowed internals.
Also opted for a new actuator to cope with the added increase in PSI.
It came back looking absolutely fantastic :)

Ringwood turbos is up the road from me Keith, a few mates have had there hybrids, they are a realy good company imo, and realistic prices! none of the people i know that have used them have a complaint about the product!:)
you wouldnt realy get under cut like that with a mig set, not enough heat, deffo tig as some of the bead is concave again due to heat.Quote:
