One loon, four doors, an XE...... and omfg, it's still there, and now it runs again!!

hi all just got my saloon home from the bodyshop where i work after a few long nights and just thought i,d put some pics up to see what you all think.The front panel is,nt sprayed because i,ve still got some welding to do and get it all seam welded then the full bay will be geting painted.I carnt make my mind up on wheels either do you think i should put speedlines on or 16'' softstars which ever i choose hey will getting sprayed anthracite.

what colours that? the blue

now then craig the colour is arden blue from the mk4 astra and zafira GSi and martin the XE has just been deliverd with the full conversion kit :D

isit fitted yet?

nice but why didnt you do the 2 door up instead of the 4??

ohh the 2 door looks nice, i like the fact your building a 4door aswell

Lookin good. Like that colour. Shouldve dehandled the fr doors IMO, but thats gettin expensive with poppers etc.

cheers for the comments lads i did the 4 door up as 1:how many people have the balls to do a 4 door and 2: i have two kids and the other half wanted a practical car and i wanted a nova so we are both happy.And when the 4 door is finished the 2 door will be coming off the road and more than likely be geting turned into a PICKUP :D

Shaun the 2 door is lowerd 60mm on 17,s,and cheers Draper the wheels look spot on hows your SR comin on and Razorjack i might decide to sell it early next year or as soon as i get my redtop in my 4 door

ARRRGGGGHHHHHH you paid to repaint the 4 door and left the 2 door!

its still on my mates drive lol and now my missus has talked me into buying a house ASAP so the money i had to spend on my engine has to be spent on a runaround/deposit :roll:

4 doors lookin sweet, wish i had some money to spend on mine, any donations...?

i,m quite lucky i work in bodyshop with a very kind boss but he did get stressed a bit when it was striped down in my valet bay for 3 weeks lol.I,m also taking my engine out this weekend (depending on weatherlol) and preping it for seam welding and painting,then after xmas i,ll be able to put my redtop in :D and finish the outside off and start on the inside

what is it like working in a bodyshop? is the money good? obviously there are loads of advantages if you are into cars. im just wondering as im fed up with working in a builders merchant and fancy a change.

Nice i like the color of the four door very nice mate,though i love the look of the two door..

right guys i,ve got a bit of a dilema now i,ve just bought a nova 3 door hatch with a redtop in and full conversion kit so i could transfer it onto my 4door.I,ve now hit a brick wall because i,m unsure what to do,shall i tidy a few bits and pieces up on the hatch make it mint and use that or strip it and finish my 4 door off.So i might sell the 4door and keep the hatch just wondered what you guys think as i really need your opinions as its doin my head in now its getting me really stressed so PLEASE help me and i,ll post some pics up later of the hatch

finish the saloon be different rather than blend in!!!

Remove the good bits off the hatch and put on the saloon. Makes sense.
