Here we go then,

some of you will know Ive moved to a new house, so i can get my nova back from 'tom eccles' the messer thats had it in dry storage for the last 2 years, but enough of that cant be arsed with negativity anymore doesn't get anyone anywhere,

so Ive getting my self ready for the arrival of my nova, firsts things first got to get this corsa fixed and gone to make space for it

got as far as i can with that right now until my new torx bits arrive, could have sworn i had some must have left them down south.

---the nova will hopefully be running a spec similar to this---
-256mm front brakes (fast road pads, new disc's & 5.1 dot fluid)
-spax rsx coilovers & Polly bushed
-front & rear strut braces
-c20xe (referbed and running nitrous oxide)
-stripped out interior
-bucket seats, 4 point harnesses, sued s/wheel, flocked dash
-perspex windows (front sliders)
-roll cage (have to research whats the best here, bolted/welded and how many points?)
-fiberglass bonnet, wings & tailgate (unpainted, pins, straps, raisers etc.)
-keeping it on small bumpers (drilled to feck as it looks proper)
-15" alloys (Astra sxi i think?), unknown semi-slicks (proxes on the road)

im toying with the idea of referbing the alloys and leaving them in primer Grey, and just giving them a few coats of Matt lacquer, then flocking the track day wheels orange, green or some other stupidly lairy colour lol

a proper little track shlagggggggg, hopefully some of you guys will pop along and lend a hand ;)

i remember some one saying you can use a corsa air box in the engine bay of a xe nova, so im keeping this, as cone filters are for gays, there hot air sucking mofos (and if im wrong and cant get it to fit, cone filters are great i love them sooooooooooooooo much ;))

The Corsa airbox won't fit without modifying it and cutting a **** loads out of the bottom. I started on it last week, it just needs tidying up:

I then went down to Maplin and bought a £7 soldering iron and set about plastic welding the gaping hole I made (first time plastic welding and I think it turned out pretty well):

built this frame around it to raise the roof 2", that way i can stand in there comfortably when the work bench is in there no need to be hunched over :thumb:

fits fairly well needs a bit of adjustment but I'm happy for now, just got to get the pikeys round to get rid of all the old crap :d
