Starter Motor

I take it that a c16se starter motor is the same and will fit on a e16se ?

Also while we're here are alternators engine size specific aswell ? i.e will 1.2 be ok to put on a 1.6 ?

You can fit both to both. The alternators vary as to their output, and some will have spade or ring terminals on, but its easy to swap the connectors on the wires that go to them.

My 1.2 and 1.6 alternators appear identical, as do the starters.
