My nova sx project

Hi, i thought i would post my nova sx project up. My brother bought the car last year and intended to do a 2.0 conversion. he got a cav sri engine and took the engine out the nova. He also cut out the old front panel and crossmember and bought new ones to replace. He then bought a kawazaki ninja bike and fogot about the nova. I offered him some cash and he said yes and i got a good deal. The car has konis all round, lowered 40mm, grooved and vented discs, tinted windows, gsi spoiler, sport steering wheel and a digi dash. I also got gsi bumpers and grill, dash and wheels with it. Here is some pics of what she looks like now!

hello, been and done a bit to the nova today and made plates up for most of the holes and got myself a mig welder. The problem is that the welder does not have any wire. Also when i press the trigger to weld nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Well if theres no wire it isnt going to weld man haha! Hmm even without wire it should still make noises,must be something up?

Oh and nice project ....looks tidy...good luck :)

i know, am not that stupid!lol but when i press the botton it makes noises but the wire that is there doesnt actually come through! I put some wire in and its not feeding it through.

an SX with window surrounds??

Been doing a wee bit more and came across a small problem. The inner wings are rotten (i think they are called inner wings anyway!) I have peeled and grinded all the underseal rubbery stuff off them and there is a fair bit needing welded. Especially on the drivers side where the arial comes down through the wing and goes onto the inner wing bit. I took it off and all round about it it just broke off.Can you just plate them up or do u have to buy complete bits. Do they even make them or would it have to be off another scrap nova or something? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

I got told it was an SX? What do you mean by window surrounds mate?

black plastic round the front and back windows: i thought the SR/SRi/GTE/GSi/L came with window surrounds...and the luxe...
