aye, its snowing down here in wolverhampton too!
stop moaning, this is when i wish i still had my selection of rwd cars, or even a car on the road ata the moment
nahhh... snow is great to drive in! Love it.
And also love all those dicks who can't drive in snow and spend all day sliding backwards in first gear at 6000rpm
But knowing my luck this will involve them sliding backwards into me!Quote:

if it snows my way, ill just have to work from home. there is no way im taking the omega out in the snow as its got Eagle F1's on, which are renowned for being crap in ice/snow lol
Its snowing here in stoke as well, i have never drove in snow before but need to drive home in about an hour. Any tips.
Well if i make it, cars been cutting out all the time and misfiring, so wouldn't make it if it wasn't snowing. I hate snow.
I love the snow. Although it has to be said that I don't HAVE to drive in it, so when I do its for fun
The best tip for drving in snow is be smooth (accelerating and breaking) and take everything slow. So slow down for junctions and stuff well in advance. Its supprising how much grip you don't have on snow!
Keep the revs down! Try and stay out of first gear; that said if you're going downhill drop down a gear and let the engine slow the car down. Don't stomp on the brakes, give yourself plenty of room to stop gently. If you're worried about it then try to stick to roads that have been cleared/gritted.Quote:
