1.2spi to 1.6 carbs.. fuel pump wiring

Hi

I'm nearly through with my conversion now from 1.2 spi engine/shell to 1.6 on twin 40s.

I have got to the stage where I have fitted a carb tank and facet posi flo fuel pump.

I have left all of the cars original wiring in place inc the ecu. I have had the car running as it is using a jerry can and pump wired straight to the battery so I know that side is all good.

Can any one tell me if I can wire my facet pump straight into the spi pump wiring? I'm hoping I can just fot simplicity as it would work off ignition etc.

Or will I have issues as I havent got certain sensors connected due to the carbs?

If so is there an easy work around?
