1.2i Nova running overly rich on startup

Hi there mind boggled about this one, basically my 92 nova 1.2i whenever I start it hot or cold it runs like a bag of ****, shakes, misses, black smoke, eml sometimes pops up then goes.. Also high revs on it's own then eventually they drop.. Basically it's running rich! And I'm eating through fuel like there's no tomorrow (£££) I've tried changing injector, plugs, leads.. Changed whole carb it's self, and it still does it (when warm runs ok but still eating fuel and a bit of a flat spot) but it never ever used to run like this. As if it's over fueling by far!! Can anyone help cheers!! :thumb:
