Im thinking about doing a few upgrades to my standard 1.2 carb. im meant to be putting the gsi engine in but at the moment it needs quite alot of things before its finished. So if i were to use the 1.6 cam, gsi exhaust manifold and whole exhaust system, and f13 5 speed gearbox, what kind of bhp figures would i be looking at? 100? 150? ;) lol
About 5-8ish more than standard. At the most
probably not worth it then. I suppose ill just get the gsi lump finished quicker. thanks :)

i put my nova on a rolling road the first day i got it made std power from its 20 year old 1.2 engine lol
GSI cam won't fit in the carb engine, as it has no lobe to drive the fuel pump

just persevere with the GSI engine dude, will be well worth it when it's in :)
i will :) ive been told that i need to get high pressure fuel lines, because my standard carb lines wont take the pressure. is this right? and also the same fella said that rather than getting an spi tank with the in tank pump, i could weld a boss into my tank and run an external fuel pump because it will be gravitationally fed. is this also correct? thanks
