Goodbye my little nova.....

Have attached a link to my photobook account - these are only some of the photos taken at the scene of the accident. It doesn't actually reflect the entire damage to the car - the shell is twisted.

As you can see, there's is no recovering the nova from that....

To say I am completely devastated is an understatement. I cannot for the life of me understand how it happened other than the tw@t weren't paying attention. He didn't swerve, break, slow down or take any evasive action whatsoever. He just plowed straight into the side of my car full pelt at 40 plus mph. The whole force of the door being crushed into me broke my chair..

And that was after being built with thick steel!!

Goodbye my lil beauty - was a fun 6 years...

I hurt so much...and feel completely lost :cry:

Is there no chance you would want to find another shell/nova and swap over all the surviving parts?

Iam gutted for you fella, it looks pretty nasty from the pics.

Yeah sorry about the small pics - I am having to use my laptop in safe mode as I have managed to break that also lol.. It wouldn't let me do anything with the pics other than upload small ones!

To be honest, I think my nova days are over. I will never get that car back, even if I think about reshelling it. I loved the smell, the feel, the look of that GTE and it's now completely gone... I just feel so raw so I dont want to make any rash decisions at this stage.

Bloody hell :( how are you feeling now (in terms of physical injuries)??

Have some major whiplash and seatbelt injuries which are gradually getting better..I have some massive bruises to show. I am amazed that I didn't break anything but I guess that's something to be grateful for!

The other driver won't know what's coming to him, I'm a personal injury lawyer :p :d

Borroks in a vice! DO HIM PROPERLY! Save the rest of us encountering him. Maybe the twunk will think about how he drives from now on!! Gutted for you.

Tbf an injury claim won't affect him his insurer will just pay out and when getting quotes all that is asked is any claims they don't ask the cost of the claim so only thing affecting is the claim so if you claim 1 million will have the same effect as 1 k
