1.0 > 1.4 Engine

I'm putting a 1.4 SR engine into my 1.0 shell

What all will need to be changed ?

Loom/s etc ?

Fuel tank
Fit a return pipe
Drivers side engine mount
Rad/Pipes
Cut and Shut the exhaust, or fit a complete 1.4sr system

Fuel tank shouldn't be a problem as with the return fuel pipe

Engine mounts are all there

Rad I'll need to source lol

Exhaust system is pretty much sorted as well

So, nothing about engine loom, coil or any engine wiring what so ever ?

i had to connect from the ignition live on the wipers to coil, change tank to have a return and rad

So I can use what's there of my 1.0 engine loom to work with the 1400 SR engine ?

Run a new ignition live to go to the sr coil, and then theres just 2 more wires to connect (earth and green to rev counter)

Use the 1L starter/alternator wiring.

Piss easy really

I have pretty much everything for a 1400 SR except the engine loom but I have the 1.0 engine loom so it should work out with a few wee mods ?

fit a 34/32 carb wont need to change tanks or fit a return then :)

you wont need 2 change the tank when ur runin the 40s

I've no idea what to do so that's why I'm asking

So, I WON'T need to change the tank ?
