eh where to start i'm intending on putting a swift gti engine into my nova, i'm stipping the wiring loom down from a 92 suzuki swift gti its th first time i've done anything with an injection engine as i usually stick with carbs keep it simple lol... I am only wanting the wiring from the ECU to the sensors and injectors, i'm trying to get rid of all the wires that go to the lights and things that have nothing to do with the ECU as i've kept the nova wiring for all the lights and stuff... does anyone have any hints or tips from past experience that they could share with me to make it abit simplier :thumb::thumb:

cheers colin

SO I take it the engine harness and the cars loom are not seperate items? On vauxhall MPi engines, the engine loom is easily separated.

If theyre all one loom, your going to need to get a wiring diagram to ensure you dont srip out any vital wires. It will help when reconnecting to the Nova as well.

A post on a Suzuki forum will also help, as the member base should have plenty of knowledge of that stuff. Just dont mention your sticking it in a nova lol

Look forward to seeing this go ahead if you do it, will be a nice change :)

aye all the wires are on the same loom not very handy, i've stripped most of it down with just a handful wires that are not on the wiring diagram not sure what to do next, weather to wait until i've got the engine in or cut out more

Not much else we'll be able to help you with on that side of the job unfortunately mate. As i said, a visit to a Swift forum may pay dividends.
