Hazard Lights

little problem, but the Hazard lights are stuck on, untill you pull the switch out of the socket, when the indicators don't work.
the Triangle switch returns all the time - should it?
thinking it might be a sticky relay or fuse, where is it? or do i need a new switch?
heard its quite a common problem, so im looking for the common solution, she has to be M.O.T'd by friday...

this is a 1991 1.0L.

Tis indeed a common problem.

Remove the switch, pull it apart (look the back where the connections are and you'll see the tangs that hold it together) and take the springs and arm out from within. That makes it pull on, push off.

I put a penny either side of mine to hold it fully in and it does the job fine.
