If its a carb model, you can fit a shiny K&N if you so wish. Personally I'd clean then paint the airbox, I think they'd look good in crackle effect paint.

Engine???????

Assume its a carbed small block. K&N or whatever carb top filter. Though seeing as std seems cool nowadays, spray teh pancake filter black & have it looking spangly.

Yep, get a K&N Bolt on for around £50. Nice Shiney Chrome thing it is as well.

You could modify an Astra SPi top hat and fit a cone to the piping off it.

Or some 1200i Corsas have a NASA style Airbox system that might make it look like you got a bigger engine and tidy the bay up. It'll take a little modding to make it fit but worth a mention.

first thing you should do is give that bay a bloody wash lol

and also, if you are wanting to hide as many wires as poss, cable tie the front wires underneath the slam panel like iv done.

Im going to be using a astra Spi elbow on my 1.4. not so much of a bodge as the 1.2 but imo its worth it, means you can show off your cam cover, even more so as the standard OHC cover can be polished.

Is that carb what i think it is?

Edit 2: Catch me on msn want to ask you summin.... :p

again, not the best of pics. but with a bit of cutting and extending, all wires can be hidden :) just do something similar with ur bay

in the engine bay? yes, just makes it look a little tidier tbh and just tidy every wire possible. as for the interior, was a little more tricky as the wires needed to be extended in some places.
