i bought the beemer 2 weeks ago and i told myself that i wouldnt insure/drive it until my private reg goes on. my mate sent off for a new logbook 4 weeks ago and it still hasnt arrived :( iv been waiting for a phone call off him every morning to say its here, but still hasnt been the day :( the car is just sat in my garage looking nice and clean just waiting to be driven, i cant stand the wait anymore :eek:

the dvla need the v5c form to transfer the reg, dont suppose theres any other way of doing it is there? :roll:

Insure, enjoy and then deal with the reg when it comes through. I know you'll have to change the details on the insuance when it arrives but at least you will be having fun in the mean time.:thumb:

thats the bit that im waiting for. my mate who i bought the car off had no logbook so he sent off for a new one, when it comes im going to use that slip and then afterwards get the car in my own name.

i dont want to drive it without my reg as itl ruin the first drive excitement sort of thing, like a big kid Lol :roll: and with elephant being cocks that they are, theyl prob charge me for change of plate.
