View Full Version : anyone ever put guage in a mk2 dash

Has anyone ever fitted a oil pressure guage, water guage etc into the dash where the heater controlls are.

I think it will look smart as my heater controls dont currently operate from those knobs i have some cables under the dash lol

Im trying to get some corsa c servo motors to controll them instead

yeh, has been done. most people fit boost gauges there as well in turbo conversions

Very common thing, cant remember the size off the top of my head though.

the guages i want are 52mm i will have to have a measure on my lunch break

i havent got a turbo in mine tho :(

i was thinking of oil battery and water

52mm gauges fit perfectly, its as if the designer of the nova knew that people would be chucking LETs in it from the start and needed boost gauges, etc.

Yep, Shame he didnt make it so the alternator would clear from factory though.

they should have just made a 2 litre nova surely the people on the production line must have realised the engine would fit in

i bet they made some in there lunch breaks lol
