I thought they only made Luxe and luxe+ on injection models??
Anyways, doesnt matter as i had a similar prob with mine (1.2i), would be running fine then would have a sudden loss of power and car speed would drop by maybe 30%. It usually happened when raining, turned out it was one of the leads that fcuked. Swapped it for an old one i had and solved problem. I only knew it was the lead as i looked under the bonnet one night when it was playing up, and cos it was dark i could see sparks jumping from lead number three from the rubber bit that sits on top of the plug.
Change yer plugs, if not fixed, then change yer dizzy cap and rotor arm, if still not fixed change yer leads. This is cheapest replaced 1st etc.

I sujested the ignition system because my 1.4 did a very similar thing and i was blaiming the old poo berg carb, it turned out to be the drive pin in the distributer which had half broken and threw the ignition timing well out (?7 for a new part)

get a timing light and check it if the above dont sort it or get it crypton tuned (checks fueling and electrics, should find the problem) :D
