Has anyone used aftermarket ones opposed to the genuine Bosch item? There is one on ebay for a LET that around £40 brand new. Would save me a fortune??

i thought this part was common to LOADS of cars with injection systems of the same era.

have a walk arond a breakers, youl find heaps.
theres nothing much in them to break, it will work with a good clean.

Yeah, if one wont play ball after a few doses of carb cleaner, try another.

Basically the LET was idling funny (really high and also revving itself). I got a second hand one off ebay which was clean as a whistle and freed it off with WD then fitted. It cured it for 2 days or say but is now doing the exact same but even worse (maybe the valve is sticking?).

So im not sure on whether to spend £140 delivered on a new one from Auto Vaux or buy this one off ebay which isnt Bosch but apparantly is new.

What else other than that could cause high revs and the engine to rev itself (almost like its stuck or somat)???
