I seem to have developed a lose connection in the camera/recording system so there are a few glitches and one point it goes dead for about 10 secs (@5:41).

Something my dad pointed out when we were in the car is that we lap one of the cars. Look for the Westfield/Cateram type car at the start of the video. We catch it again.

Also I think the GTiR was waiting for me since he jumped on the accelerator just as I passed him. I could hear his turbo spool up over my engine! I think I know who it was and I hope he was recording the session. I will post that here as well if he was.

@6:50 we are discussing what the smell was. We thought brakes. But it must have been clutch since it went very early on in the second session.

one thing i havnt read is if youve been able to compare lap times for before and after the spliter?? if so has it made a difference

Burgo the jury is still out on that one. The car felt better, the G meter recorded about the same as before. Can't comment on the lap times since I was held up at some point on each lap.

Deffo worth keeping it on there and testing further.

twistysnovagte - Yup thats my dad in the passenger seat, he does enjoy it :thumb: Esp when I lose it or have a 'moment' for some reason. When the gearbox went and we slid in to the in-field at quarry, he was laughing.
