Disconnecting?

When a battery has been disconnected does the ECU lose its memory? Its a Nova SRI by the way. Thanks

It looses its "learnt" settings yeah.
So it just returns to its original map when you reconnect the battery.

Ok thanks. Its a right B*****d.. Its running sweet one minute then i leave it over night, Go to start it in the morning and its mis-firing & running rough.. seems like its choking up. Fitted a new coolent sensor and thats made no difference. Any ideas? maybe the crank sensor? :confused: Thanks
