Which one to use..? Ive got the C20XE on at the mo, but the coolant pipes are all hashed to fit, is the 8valve one to use? Which one, 8v big block or small?
I take it you have one with 3 outlets on it and require the 2. IIRC big block 8v's and early 20XE's had these.

I'm using the 3 outlet one fine craig, 2 for the matrix, and one to the bottom of the header?
on an xe one of the heater matrix pipes goes to the side of the head btw..

Where have you plumbed the outlet on the side of the head to John? If you've plumbed both the matrix pipes into that main pipe, you wont be getting any circulation through the matrix :(

On mine, ive got it going from side of head to matrix then matrix to carrier. Just were it comes off the expansion tank its a bit poo.

Quite right you are too lee, i have mine plumbed as craig says l was just having a blondetard moment. I've been and checked and the one on mine has 2 pipes off the plastic tube. The engine was originally out of a cav?
