Just bought a CorsaGSI over the phone, non runner and a little rough around the edges but for a very good price!

Pics to follow later.

Will either repair and tart up then flog, or break for a profit and weigh the shell in.

Cant wait!!!!

Got back about 9.30pm from picking it up, spent the next hour breaking into it as I left the keys in the ignition on the back of the truck and the lovely Clifford decided to lock itself!
Had a quick nosey around it, got a few aftermarket bits and some not so good stuff as you'll see below....
Its got a Remus twin exit backbox
Decatted
BMC airfilter
Clifford Cat1 with remote start
Kenwood CD player with iPod connector
Bad bits:
Non runner, uspected problem with the head
Could do with new bonnet and boot (rot)
Drivers side doorcard has broken under the material
Prob with drivers door - wont open from inside or outside
Nasty 6x9 holes in shelf
In the boot I found a set of Lockwood door sill protectors, a spare set of GSi rear arch trims, boxes for new leads, new plugs, and new cambelt kit.
Aside from the dinks and scratches, it looks in ok condition considering i'll be the 10th owner! Fogs are unmarked, grille looks to be in one piece, wheels and tyres look ok, i'm quite chuffed really!
I've decided to repair the minor stuff and then work out whether to repair the 1.6 16v or to bin it and have ago at converting to XE myself :s
I'll get some pics up tomorrow when theres a bit of light.

Ok, the drivers door card has to be removed to rectify the non opening issue. Whats happened there is that the small plastic connector joining both handles to the lock has slipped off and so the door wont open. Take a look in and you'll see. Best bet is to replace it as they go once, they'll always go again. Now take this oppertunity to fix the door card, fix something to the underside of it to strengthen it, it doesnt need to be nice looking, cuz it wont be seen.

As for the engine, You're probably best off fixing it, the car seems to be pretty origional and these have always been rare and will only get rarer. Nice find lad, well done.

I have a mint parcel shelf if you want one and quite a few spare interior bits if you need any.

Looks like it has the usual rot in the usual places.

Its not as clean as mine tho.
