changing alternator on xe/let corsa

do you have to drop the mount or out, or take inlet manifold off to change an alternator on a xe/let corsa?

Drop it out from underneath and remove the driveshaft, thats the easiest and quickest way.

Still is a pain in the **** though.

Royal pain in the ass, cannot be removed from the top without inlet manifold off, it's actually a little stub on the inlet that stops it, would of cut the stub off in situ but it's all chrome plated :wtf:

Ended up dropping it down past the drive shaft (as mentioned above), didn't need to remove driveshaft tho,
but still managed to scratch the fook out of it (poss. due to having 4-1 manifold)

actually on second reading its for a corsa, so you have little bit more room t work with, still out the bottom is the way forward.
