As there always seems to be a keyboard war with who like the loons and who dont lets find out once and for all how many people really do like a proper car lol
I love loons, have done for years, just something about the shape of them. They could be made by fiat and i`d still have one lol
I used to absolutely despise hatches lol but then ive seen a few (probs handfull) on here that i like and would own :cool:
oh i love the hatch dont get me wrong but as you said its something about the loon you got to love. plus itdont give off the chav look as much and you get more % of car for your money lol
i only like 2 door coupes tho, sorry walshy lol even tho when slammed on there little bum holes they are pretty darn kool.

Bit of a crappy poll as I don't agree with any of the two statements lol .
So I will give my opinion: I drive a hatch, but I'd drive a saloon no sweat aswell. Love both!

I own and drive a hatch, but I'd love a 2dr saloon sleeper too:thumb: . But I'm an easy going kind of guy.
I wouldn't get as much rezpekt around here for driving a saloon though.lol

loons have there uses,

So I will give my opinion:the loon has started to grow on me recently after seeing pics of "walsh c's" and "saloonwoodys" cars. but i still prefer the hatch to the loon:)
Id have a saloon, but im afraid I still see no point in the 3 door lol. If you have a bigger car, and your stuck with the sucky arches either way, you may as well have some extra doors lol
I WILL build a more door LET sleeper sometime next year if i have some spare cash :)

I wouldn' wanna be that low, my car is enough of a pain in the ass as it is. I have seen a few saloons where the arches suit them, just not many!
I hate that jazz with removing the front indicators... YUK!!
tbh its not that bad being that low. just have to go half on half off on speedbumps

Everyone knows real Novas had GSi written on the doors & rev counters from the factory....
Mine was and will again be a saloon, two doors all day, but not a big fan of of the four door version and I think it adds more of an element of surprise when you beat a fast car then they seem more eager to find what you've done to it and it must hurt a little bit more when they never made a fast saloon from the factory. The looks I've had of people in expensive motors, that think they are quick, are priceless when you take the p**s out of them on the road and are what keep me wanting a nova (saloon).

I know a lot of people want to see the hatch arches on the saloon, as the square arches are one of the main features that makes a nova what it is. However, for ME, those arches do absolutely nothing - I prefer the round arches of the saloon for a few reasons:
hatch arches aren't level
wheels are round, arches should be - round peg, square hole and all that :p

and lynz theres nothing wrong with it being that low. youve seen how low mine is and ive never scraped it on anything and everyone whos goes in it comments on how harsh it isnt

Maybe if the back was the same style as the front it would look ok :confused: but instead you get an odd arch gap look when you lower them
