R5 GTT it is then!
erm no, the rx7 is 1308cc on the log book if it is an import.. which means £66.50 6months and baout £120 a year for tax.
also when you tax a vehicle it goes by the CC stated on the log book so why would they charge more even if it clearly states it is in the lower class..
the new rx8's are the highest taxation class and they are alot better on emisions than the rx7 lol, the rx8 at the moment works out to aprox £400 a year tax

2 of the lads i knock around with have rx7's and they both pay £90+ for 6 months tax
When they went to the dvla to register them they had all the intentions of getting cheap tax but it didnt work out lol
How'd they figure that out? I thought they were still counted as 1.3's...
Or do some RX7's fall into the post-2001 emissions bandings?

haha lol my 5 gtt is £66.50 and i could gass a small village with it, yippe for crappy tax regs.
ive been having this debate with my mate at work as the new transit is £120 a year and his new vec 1.8 is £180 pure madness
Hmmm, the road tax on my diesel astra runaround is £210 iirc, more than the bloody car is worth! I'm thinking i need to find me some late loonage or a more door hatch!
it means if u dont pay it some fukcer will come and tax it off you and make you pay more to get it back. sorta like being held at ransom but legally haha
Na not over here. :D
We just tell them we've just bought the car and are awaiting the tax book. Luckily, we dont have a Huge mutli million system set up to catch us out!!
Whats road tax?
It's whats "keeping" the current uk economy, anlong with the current price of fuel imo.
