erm no, the rx7 is 1308cc on the log book if it is an import.. which means £66.50 6months and baout £120 a year for tax.

also when you tax a vehicle it goes by the CC stated on the log book so why would they charge more even if it clearly states it is in the lower class..

the new rx8's are the highest taxation class and they are alot better on emisions than the rx7 lol, the rx8 at the moment works out to aprox £400 a year tax

2 of the lads i knock around with have rx7's and they both pay £90+ for 6 months tax

When they went to the dvla to register them they had all the intentions of getting cheap tax but it didnt work out lol

How'd they figure that out? I thought they were still counted as 1.3's...

Or do some RX7's fall into the post-2001 emissions bandings?

Its comes into power output with the RX's.

Do like i did, save the planet dont buy a new gasguzzler that will cost loads on tax and **** the planet... buy an old one instead lol I mean come on.. alright i have a 2.0 astra now, but the 89 3.0l supra, basic tax.. that chucks out more than the 3.0l BMW lets say.. seriously wrong.

Whats road tax?

It's whats "keeping" the current uk economy, anlong with the current price of fuel imo.
