I am no expert at 1/4 miles it was my first go at the weekend but my slips vary so much but the ETs are all within a few tenths,on my first 3 runs i missed 3rd gear eachtime (crap linkage and too much adrenaline) but still managed 15.6 ,15.7 ,15.8,the 15.7 was at 98.34mph now i cant believe for 1 that my car could get to 98mph in a 1/4 mile let alone when i missed 3rd,and my best run when i did get 3rd i did a 15.3 at 91mph ,60ft is similar on both runs as is 330ft and 1000 but on the run that says 98mph the 1/8th mph is slower at 68 this cant be right can anyone explain or have similar slips:thumb:

Whats the engine spec?
Theres no way you would hit a 98 terminal in a NA 1300 8v IMO

For example, 20xe novas only get terminals around 95....

my xe was 14.2 at 98 mph so if your 1300 is doing that its going some

This is what i thought Adam its quite a high spec but it just doesnt make sense to me it was r/r at track and road it only made 100bhp but the timing was a mile out it has made 113bhp at tourque of the devil and they read quite low i would guess at the very most its got 120bhp,my i did two 15.3,s one at 80.24 and one at 91.23 mph something doesnt seem right to me and i wonder how accurate the timing is and i cant beleive it would do 98 mph and thats with a 2.5 60ft

They have all got the right car number on them, and the time at which they were run seem about right

As said, i only did a 15.7 @ 89, with around 125-130bhp.
And my 60ft times are lower than yours, so in theory i should of done a lower time than you. A lots down to driver skill though.

So id put money on there timing gear screwed up the time/speed for some reason. A guy on mig posted a video of his nova with a terminal of 143mph........ Lol Which is clearly wrong.
