91 nova sr for sale

right after much deliberation i have decided to sell my nova project

its a 1991 nova sr mostly in origanal order
its got 81 thou on the clock
the interior is imaculate condition no wear to the bolsters at all
engine is sweet apart from the exhaust is blowing from the manifold
out side it does need some work could do with wings doors and some repairs to the arches aswell as front valance/crossmember but does seem to be solid everywere else
i have sofar put ate astra 1.4 calipers and grooved discs on it + gsi front bumper and have gsi side skirts in the shed and have fitted full black dash

will make a good tidy car with a little work £300

no tax or mot mate it been of the road for 2 years as the one lady owner died unfortunatley its had two owners since then so its no longer a 1 owner from new :(

No disrespect but I've got a sieve in my kitchen with less holes in it, thats gonna take some welding to pass an MOT.

it needs two patches under the bonnet one in boot wings/doors/work to rear quarters and a front valance to have a good origanal sr hardly a sieve but if for parts still worth £300

yes mate but tbh i dont think i will break it imo its to good for that if it doesnt sell it will be locked up in my nans garage for 12months until i can afford

hahaha thats my car brought it last month just seen this thread :-D al the probs on it are being sorted out. new wings doors, whole exhaust system, rims, welding going to be done. got it garaged. cant drive it tho only 16 :)

thanks, lol i wa just looking through n i saw 91 nova sr for sale. ad a look and it was mine! haha, when i brought it there were a few problems. 1 was the bonnet cable, it snapped from the interior handle. and the previous owner (dave955 on here) tied a cable around the bonnet release catch so u just pull that and the bonnet opens. i wanted to get that fixedso one day i tried to open the bonnet, and the cable snapped while the bonnet was shut! i was gutted but eventuallu had to snap the grill and pull the bonnet release manually. got new cable now, but within 5 minutes of fixing that i started the engine and it was constantly idling at 6500rmp lol and with that exhaust blow at the manifold it sounded baaaad. got that sorted, the throttle cable neded to be adjusted it was juts near the throttle boddy? i think its called? well thats fine now. and honestly, within 1 minute of fixing that i stated the car to test it. rolled forward. pulled handbrake SNAP needed new cable. thats sorted now. so i can focus on the problems that i was gna do in the 1st place. i brought 2 new wings from a vauxhall spares down the road for £35 each. and off my mate i brought a passenger door de-locked. and off ebay last night i brought a drivers door. i have a new exhaust in my garage that needs to be fitted bechause the exhaust i had on there was completely rotten and blown. but having that blow at the manifold, didnt rly matter much. ive been w8ing on my m8 to get me a gsi manifold and downpipe for about a week, he foned me up yesterday and hopefully, im changing the whole manifold, downpipe and whole exhaust today. the welding that needed to be done, (see in those pics) that isnt a priority at the moment, but that will be sorted. and also, because its an SR its got that stupid vinyl running along the bottom of the doors. that needs to come off. and it runs along the door pillar so that needs to come off too. i might buy some tints. i need new alloys and tyres which im buying soon. new air filter needed, might get the original. hmm what else. . . lowerd maybe? tinted rear lights, oh need new front light aswell its got moss growing in it lol. it hadnt been on the road in 2 years. and as dave said in this post, it needs new valance. also called crossmember isnt it? im not sure. but that is like. . .pure rust, definately need new 1. oh and when i was trying to take the old wing off, there was 1 bolt i couldnt get off. if anybody can help me, underneath the off/side light there was a bolt that i couldnt get to, it was behind a long thick metal bar after u took front bumper off. dont no about that 1. but also i couldnt get the side repeater out, i was told on here that u have to disconncet it, its in the footwell by the A pillar is that right?

well the car is coming along. i just need to spray all the parts i have, fit them. then that wil b a maority of the work done. i really enjoy worknig it. now that ive left school i have loads of time, and i start college in september. im doing car mechanics of course :-) and if anybody has myspace add me!

new exhaust on the nova, and manifold and downpipe. the cars in bits at the moment, took the whole front off. replacing valance soon coz its all rusted. then fitting the new wings. all coming along nicely :D new drivers door got delivered yesterday aswell. just gota spray al the new parts i have.
