Hi not nova related i know but im hoping someone can still help me out

One of the fuel lines has split on my GTE so it needs replacing

I'm thinking about replacing both the lines with a rubber alternative

Also the fixings seem to be a little dodgy so i really need to replace them too

Is this a hard task? and does anyone know where i can get hold of some rubber fuel line and fixings?

the fuel line needs to be of a rigid design to cope with the pressure. ie. nylon or copper. the rubber bits are only used to joint at each end.
you can get nylon fuel hose from a decent truck spares place, & copper from a plumbers merchant or diy store.

8mm Copper should do, and get a meter or 2 of the Rubber hose for bends etc. The origional Clips are pretty **** but usually always durable. It they have all failed, try some Jubale Clips or the 5minute job using Cable ties.

If you wanna go pro with it, contacty Vauxhall and ask them to get you some replacements.
