F10 - F13 Gear Selector thingy

As title, Broke my F13 gear selector thingy (Dont ask)..... Not sure what the real name for it is. The thing on top that has 3 bolts...

Anyways is the F10 one same as F13, if the F10 is a 4 speed?

Any help would be great.

As above and the correct term for them is Gear Selector thing, not thingy. Thats just stoopid.

As far as I'm aware, they're all ready to be fitted to 5-speed boxes, even if they've only ever been on a 4-speed.

Found out today, The 4 speed F10 selector dosnt fit the 5 speed F13, it wont select 5th.

oh, they must have just used the same casting but missed out some of the internals then, cause every 4-speed I've ever had had markings for 5 forward gears on it.

Maybe it differs from F10 to F13?

Meh no prob, we all make mistakes

And mikey14sr, My F10 selector also shows 5-speed.
