Does anyone know what the 'gsi' and 'gte' stands for on vauxhall cars?

I think gsi is "grand superior injection"

GTE is something like grand turismo elegance" or something like that..."

Unsure though

its like LX is short for luxurious

Most abbreviations mean nothing they just look and sound good.

Did you know TVR is short for Trevor (the guy that founded the company!)

I asked on Dixons advice forum and was told that GTE stands for Grand touring edition, and that GSi is Grand Sports Injection.
