see that post mate

i think you should go for twin fog option.

i really like it, is a VERY cheap way to get twin rear red clusters - i have slightly tinted the indicator - see the pics, looks well sweet, and i just noticed your thanks and shouts had me in it on novaload :D respect to ya!!

r- tech sell special mesh to put over lights and sprayed any colour you want and the lights will still shine through the right colours. Not sure how legal it is though

The following Link includes a nova which has top half red and bottom half clear clusters, very nice.

and this link shows a Nova with 'special' doors

what about using film over the lights, u can get window tints in most colours now, mirror might look good, but then again it mght look pants. what about that headlight film which is like holographic and changes colour? could work. :?:

alex (anyone) is that r-tech mesh that stuff where you can basically spray yer lights the same as the car body so it looks like you have no lights but they still shine through the paint?

Saw lots of them style of lights at traxx and wondered how they did it?

anyone got an address/tele number/website...

?

I was going to get clear ones for the flying machine, then I start to make my own one using Yaris rear oval lights in a nova housing. But now my brothers mate is going to do them like the LED one on carisma R5 GTturbo on the top sides of the tailgate. :)

why dont u check out them quad conversion ones that they do for the nova, afterburner style. they look quite sweet. altho im quite interested in gettin it done so ur rear lights are same colour as bodywork. very tempting. looks sweet if done right.

Get the tailgate extended over the lights, right into the corners, so it's covering the lights (like Dan's/djp_y2k), but have it incorporating clear perspex in it positioned over the lights (but sprayed over with paint diluted by lacquer) so it looks like there are no lights, but they shine trough. :o <---- yeah, right!

or fit the hella crystal clear neoned side-repeaters, but change the neons to red/amber (i.e. fit more than one repeater, and wire them up separately).

Or just ignore anything i post after my drink and drugs sessions.

the r-tec mesh is very fine, and you just spray it with normal paint before it goes onto the lights any colour you want. When on the light just shines through the very small holes, but it does come through very well.
